QUALIFICATIONS
Kim is specialised in construction law and has been working in construction since 2008, first at Plesner law firm and subsequently at MT Højgaard. In 2018, Kim became Head of Legal at Arkitema, an architectural firm which is part of COWI. Kim thus has extensive experience in construction law and is able to integrate the client’s commercial considerations into his advice.
In Kim’s opinion there is no need to complicate the collaboration between the parties with unreasonably long and complex contracts that are not operational in the parties’ daily life. Kim’s emphasis is therefore on strengthening the teamwork and making the law usable and understandable for the client.
Kim also has extensive practical experience in contract management of construction projects – from procurement, formation of contract, through the project phase to execution, as well as in relation to potential disputes and insurance claims.
Disputes are unfortunately a fact of life in construction, but Kim always seeks the amicable resolution of any dispute. If this is not possible, Kim is an experienced litigator in both the court of arbitration and the civil courts.
